Speed Plastics Quality

The certificate for achieving the ISO 9001 Quality Standard was received by Mike Hutson, Managing Director of Speed Plastics Ltd, in January 2004.

Ray Bardell, Quality Manager, stated, "We updated our original ISO 9002 standard to the ISO 9001:2000 version to include our expanding product design and development department."

Mike Hutson commented, "Because of the type of customers we deal with, for example the medical and research fields, we saw it as vital to maintain quality assurance. In turn it will create more business opportunities for our company."

He concluded, "We have the latest High Frequency welding machines and with our stringent quality control with rigorous batch and sample testing we will ensure that our products are as high in quality as our ISO 9001 management system."

Speed Plastics are committed to gaining the Investors in People standard

We feel it is important to show we are focussed towards our staff as well as being a customer facing company.

Currently, systems are being implemented which will lead to Investors in People certification.
